Just in time for the new winter season a new General Manager has been appointed at Powder Mountain Resort, Utah. Kevin Mitchell was appointed the new position on the 17th of November and has over 20 years of experience across mountain resorts to the Powder Mountain community. Mitchell started his career as a professional big mountain skier, he was a member of the prestigious Professional Ski Instructors of America (PSIA) National Alpine Team from 2000 to 2004 where he represented the United States at Interski and helped set standards for snowsports instruction and experiences across the globe.

In terms of resort management Mitchell served as General Manager of Homewood Mountain Resort on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe for the past 11 years. Throughout his tenure Kevein expanded the resort acreage through development of snowcat skiing terrain. He joins the PowMow team with an abundance of noteworthy contributions to the industry including development of snowboard and ski industry growth, and a dedicated passion for snow sports and resort management.

Industry professional Kevin Mitchell joins the leadership team, bringing over 20 years of experience

EDEN, Utah (November 17, 2022) 一 Powder Mountain Ski Resort is proud to announce the selection of their new General Manager, Kevin Mitchell, a resort management professional who brings over two decades of experience to the Powder Mountain community.

Mitchell has spent the last 25 years at the forefront of action sports and the ever-evolving ski industry. Launching his career as a professional big mountain skier, he was a member of the prestigious Professional Ski Instructors of America (PSIA) National Alpine Team from 2000 to 2004 where he represented the United States at Interski and helped set standards for snowsports instruction and experiences across the globe. Mitchell also led early-stage development at the largest and most sophisticated instruction programs in the West and was instrumental in the evolution of terrain park and halfpipe instruction and coaching.

Other deals include 10% off private lessons and 10% off in-bound guided tours.
