Sunday River New Barker 6 D-LINE Chair Coming This Season
Boyne Resorts and Doppelmayr USA have a strong partnership, evident from the installation of new D-Line lifts across multiple resorts. These lifts are not only impressive engineering marvels but also offer an unmatched experience for skiers and snowboarders. Sunday River, as part of its "2030 Plan," is replacing its outdated Barker lift with a new bubble lift called Barker 6, which will transport skiers from the base to the top of Barker Mountain. This addition follows the successful installation of the Jordan 8 lift last year. The new Barker lift boasts impressive specifications, including a capacity of 3250 skiers per hour, heated seats, a red bubble cover, and more. Additionally, Sunday River plans to install a smaller fixed-grip triple lift in the Merrill Hill area to serve beginner and intermediate terrain and accommodate nearby housing developments. These advancements demonstrate the commitment of Boyne Resorts and Doppelmayr USA to enhancing the skiing experience for visitors.
