To access the accommodation at Mt Buller, you will need to park your vehicle at the main parking area and take a snow taxi up to the accommodation in the village. Overnight visitors to the resort are not allowed to use the bus service as this is for day travellers only.  

Those not looking to stay directly in the snow at the accommodation at Mt Buller will find more budget friendly or even larger homes for multiple families down off the mountain in either Sawmill Settlement or the country town of Mansfield. These accommodation options allow visitors easy access to amenities like petrol, supermarkets and a larger collection of bars and restaurants whilst saving on the accommodation.
