Big White Snow

Big White is aptly named, and we can understand that they must be proud of their snowfall because it’s in their motto and logo. Big Snow sees on average around 7.5m (24ft) of natural snowfall however due to their location in Canada and high elevation means the quality of the snow is what makes them famous. Snow normally starts falling in early November and the most powerful storms can be found in January, February and early March.

Another resounding feature of Big White is their ‘Snow Ghost’ which are snow blasted trees which make an appearance normally mid-January after some solid storms whip the resort. Riding in and around these uniquely wild formation’s is an experience any visitors should strive for.
