Big Sky Resort is owned by a parent company called Boyne Resorts. Boyne owns and operates ski areas across the country in a number of different states. The are leading the way with operating ski resorts on renewable energy which we praise as without nature our favourite sport will be non-existent.

Notable properties include: Big Sky, Loon, Sugarloaf, Brighton, and Sunday River. Big Sky is Boyne’s largest, and most valuable asset amongst their resorts however with the other resorts they will be making quite the contribution.

Getting the resort to 100% renewable energy is a huge step towards their goal of reaching carbon net-neutrality by 2030.
