Where Can You Still Ride In North America?

Over the last few days we have been reporting on which ski resorts across both the USA and Canada got the most snowfall. Now we wanted to take a look at where it’s still possible to be getting in those spring laps on the mountain side.

Spring riding is sometimes just as enjoyable as the deep powder days in the middle of winter, there is something special about being outside in the crisp sunshine as we warm our souls from the depth of a chilly winter. There isn’t a need for numerous layers and the spring corn snow is great to carve on.

We have also noticed that in the spring conditions a large number of new riders get the confidence to give the sport a go. The snow is soft and the sunny conditions make it alot easier to learn how to ride and we think anyone who wants to jump on in and contribute to the sport we all love is a great asset to the industry.

There aren’t many resorts that continue to operate this long into spring, however as expected Colorado dominates the list with their ski high elevations. Check out the list we have compiled below in absolutely no particular order.

Now Michael calls Melbourne home and spends as much time in the snow as physically possible with trips to Falls Creek, Hotham and Mt Buller throughout the winter season + a few weeks up north in either Canada, Japan or the USA once per season.

When Michael is not riding in the mountains, writing about ski resorts or deep diving into SEO, he is working hard as Digital Manager in the retail space, drinking coffee or training for a marathon.
