Bridger Bowl

Located deep in the heart of Montana's Bridger Mountain Range, Bridger Bowl Ski Resort is a winter wonderland for skiers and snowboarders of all skill levels. With over 2,000 skiable acres and an average annual snowfall of 350 inches, Bridger Bowl offers some of the best skiing in the United States.

History: Montana Bridger Bowl was founded in 1955 by a group of local ski enthusiasts who saw the potential of the Bridger Mountains for skiing. The resort started with just one lift and a handful of runs, but over the years, it has expanded to become one of the premier ski resorts in the region.

Skiing and Riding: Bridger Bowl offers something for everyone, from beginner slopes to expert terrain. The resort has a total of 11 lifts, including two high-speed quad chairs, and offers a variety of terrain parks, moguls, glades, and groomers. The resort also offers night skiing on select days throughout the season. One of the unique features of Montana Bridger Bowl is its hike-to terrain, which allows skiers and snowboarders to access some of the most challenging and rewarding terrain in the area. The Ridge, located at the top of the resort, offers steep chutes, open bowls, and incredible views of the surrounding mountains. To access the Ridge, skiers and snowboarders must hike approximately 20 minutes from the top of the Bridger lift.

Montana Bridger Bowl is also known for its affordable lift tickets and friendly, laid-back atmosphere. The resort is popular with locals and visitors alike, and it's not uncommon to strike up a conversation with someone on the lift or in the lodge.

Amenities and Services: Bridger Bowl offers a variety of amenities and services to make your ski trip as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The resort has two base areas, both of which offer equipment rentals, ski and snowboard lessons, and dining options. The Jim Bridger Lodge, located at the main base area, is a great place to grab a bite to eat or warm up by the fire after a long day on the slopes.

In addition to skiing and snowboarding, Bridger Bowl also offers cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and backcountry skiing opportunities. The resort has a team of experienced ski patrollers who work tirelessly to ensure the safety of skiers and snowboarders on the mountain. Bridger Bowl Ski Resort is a hidden gem in the world of skiing, offering incredible terrain, affordable lift tickets, and a welcoming atmosphere. Whether you're a beginner or an expert, there's something for everyone at Bridger Bowl. So pack your skis or snowboard and head to Montana's Bridger Mountains for an unforgettable ski trip.
