Normally kicking off operations in mid-November this high alpine mountain resort soars from a base elevation just shy of 8,000ft (2,436m) and towers to an incredible 10,488ft (3,197m) which gives way to 2,494ft (760m) of vertical terrain. This terrain can hold snow well into April which makes Solitude Mountain Resort UT of the best ski resort in Utah for spring Utah skiing on those lengthy warm days.
Lift tickets at Solitude Mountain Resort UT are extremely reasonably priced when compared to some of the other mega resorts found in the state however if you are looking to do more than a few days riding in Big Cottonwood Canyon or Little Cottonwood Canyon we would suggest looking into a Ikon Pass for the best value.
