Those not looking to stay directly in the snow at the accommodation at Thredbo will find more budget friendly or even larger homes for multiple families down in the lakeside town of Jindabyne. Jindabyne has the largest collection of affordable accommodation and is around 1 hours’ drive north of Thredbo ski resort, but this gives visitors to the region easier access to local bars, restaurants and supermarkets.
